How do I get admitted into the school?

How can I obtain a copy of my transcript?

To obtain a copy of your transcript, your full name, date of birth, year graduated and a valid address to mail the transcript to.
Transcripts will not be official if they are emailed!

If you are a current student at DeWitt Clinton High School, you can simply obtain a copy from your skedula account by following the steps here.

How can I obtain a copy of my diploma?

Unfortunately, we do not have any copies of diplomas. It can only be distributed once.

Is there a dress code?

How much Homework is given?

The amount of homework given varies from one class to another. Most nights students will receive 1 to 2 hours of homework.

How can I access a students grade?

At DeWitt Clinton High School, we use Skedula, a school management system to help provide instant information on a students academics. If you log on to your or your Childs account here you can access all their academic information.To learn more click here.

What are the high school graduation requirements?

To graduate high school, you need to pass the 5 state regents exams and obtain 44 credits.

Can I graduate if I am missing 1 gym, art or music credit?

NOO! You can NOT graduate high school if you are missing any credits, including gym, art and music!

Are Advanced Placement (AP) courses offered?

Yes! At DeWitt Clinton High School, we offer 13 Advanced Placement courses throughout the school. Click here to learn more about the Advanced Placement courses offered.

Can you give me an example of a typical high school schedule?

School starts at 8:15 AM Monday - Friday and ends at 3:55 PM Tuesday - Friday. Students leave the school at 2:35 PM on Mondays.

How many students are enrolled in the school?

As of this school year, 2015 - 2016, around 1800 students are enrolled in the school.
