DeWitt Clinton High School

At DeWitt Clinton High School, we offer a huge variety of academic help for students who want it. Students will be given times and dates from their teachers to when tutoring is available for them. We also work with different programs and organizations to help our students academically, such as:

Sports and Arts Tutoring (in the school)

Weekday Tutoring (3:45 PM - 5:30 PM)

Saturday Tutoring (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

  "The Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation (SASF)’s goal is to help bridge the academic performance gap among underachieving students by extending the school day and year with wholesome, skill-building activities designed to improve New York City children’s academic performance, health and wellness, attitude towards school, self-confidence, character and values, and opportunity for lifelong employment."

SAGA drives the expansion of the nationally recognized innovation of high-dosage, intensive daily tutoring, where tutoring is a part of the regular school day for students as a scheduled class period."

  "The goal of College Now, much like many dual enrollment programs, is to help students meet high school graduation requirements and prepare for success in college, both academically and socially. In addition, program administrators have designed program activities with the goal of enhancing performance on Regents and CUNY placement exams so that students will be able to enroll in college without the need for remediation."
